Macrow & Son have been retailing fine jewellery from our Swanage shop since 1991. Prior to this our family has been designing and manufacturing fine jewellery since 1949.

Peter Macrow was a pattern maker for leading London jewellers, based in Hatton Garden. David Macrow, the son, has been manufacturing jewellery for major Hatton Garden producers and for some 200 other retail outlets for over twenty years. Consequently, we have a long family tradition of producing the very best at the keenest prices. Our speciality is unusual items, made by hand using the finest diamonds and coloured stones. Through our long-standing and close ties with the industry we are proud to deal with the very best suppliers and craftsmen in the country and to provide the very best imported products.

THE TEAM

We have made sure that the person you deal with will be qualified by the National Association of Goldsmiths and will be able to direct your enquiry to the best possible source - be it repair, valuation or sale. As all who regularly visit our shops will attest, Dave, Denise and the rest of the team are always available by mobile to discuss prices if not actually on the spot - so don’t avoid us if you can’t see the person you want (they may just be in the back pricing stock or dealing with enquiries). Don’t be disappointed by missing an item because you are concerned about a lack of personal service from the usual person you trust - you never know, you might prefer the new person you deal with!
